Hands-on Screening Course
by László Tabár, M.D., F.A.C.R. (Hon)
Dr. Tabár discusses the importance of teaching radiologists
to find breast cancer in its earliest stages. This structured hands-on
screening course offers reading of more than 240 full-field digital mammography cases
displayed on EIZO monitors.
After every reading session there is immediate
feedback and discussion of every case by the Faculty. Special emphasis is
placed on finding early phase breast cancers and learning the full spectrum of
normal breast images in order to minimize call-back rates without missing
cancers. The complete imaging workup of each positive case will be presented in
detail, including hand-held ultrasound, 3D automated ultrasound, breast MRI and
large section histology. The attendees will receive a PDF copy of each positive
case with full workup.
